Talk About Pictures for desktop
Your family's photos and their stories, on a bigger screen — with a real keyboard for the long ones. The desktop app syncs with the phone app over the same end-to-end encrypted family.
The first launch will warn you
These builds aren't signed with an Apple or Microsoft certificate yet, so both systems will tell you the app is from an unidentified developer. That warning is accurate — it means the code hasn't been through a paid signing program, not that anything is wrong with it. Until that's sorted:
- macOS — Gatekeeper will refuse to open it on a double-click. Right-click the app and choose Open, then confirm.
- Windows — SmartScreen shows a blue "Windows protected your PC" screen. Choose More info, then Run anyway.
- Linux — no warning, but nothing vouches for the file either. Check the SHA-256 below if you want to be sure it's the file we built.
Once installed, the app updates itself — you'll only need this page once.
Verify your download
Compare these against your file — shasum -a 256 <file> on macOS/Linux, or certutil -hashfile <file> SHA256 on Windows.
